Game of Shadows A Documentary

Canada Under Siege

A year ago, in March, Optimum Publishing International came to Charlottetown to launch two books and make a presentation. Under Cover by Garry Clement and The Mosaic Effect, How the CCP Started a Hybrid War in America’s Backyard. We were there to inform islanders what the bigger game plan was of the Chinese Communist Party worldwide was and how PEI had become a conduit for Win-Win business opportunities, elite capture and economic subversion by the Chinese Communist Party.

We also announced that we were conducting a journalistic investigation into the PNP program, political corruption and also exploring the links between Bliss and Wisdom (Fu Zhi Group, Taiwan) better known to the islanders as The Great Enlightenment Buddhist Institute( GEBIS) and Great Wisdom Buddhist Institute (GWBI). This group had humble beginnings in Taiwan (1992) and China that started with Master Jih-Chang (who passed in 2004) along with Abbott Fan Yin who together founded the group A lot has happened in thirty + years and especially after Mary (Mengrong) JIn, (Jhen-Ru) took control over the group in 2004 from mainland China.

Now you can hear from the whistleblowers, His Holiness’s representative, and the politicians, as the investigators unravel what is behind, a Game of Shadows.

Join our speakers and authors for an insightful session on our findings and how the CCP’s interest in controlling Tibetan Buddhist organizations worldwide found its way to Prince Edward Island.

    The Book

Canada Under Siege is a book about our investigation into elite capture, espionage, and how the Chinese Communist Party’s United Front Work Department gained influence on Canada’s East Coast. For many, it won’t come as a surprise that so-called “win-win” business opportunities with China had a dark side. But when the CCP’s Belt and Road Initiative was quietly rolled out on Prince Edward Island, wilfully blind politicians bought in—hook, line, and sinker.

It was all out in the open, encouraged by governments from coast to coast. But that engagement has come with a heavy price.

Bliss and Wisdom, a seemingly quiet monastic group based in Taiwan and China, arrived on the Island in 2008. Since then, it has sparked controversy and concern among many Islanders. When they began purchasing properties with cash, it should have set off alarm bells. Instead, local politicians and former cabinet ministers who sold land to the corporation—or its followers—suddenly became vocal supporters, both in public and on the legislative floor.

After all, the money was just too damn good to walk away from.

We are all in on China

  • The early 2000’s was a time Canada and the world saw great opportunity in China under the leadership of Deng Xiaoping who originally appeared to be opening up China to the World. But as it turned out our politicians were fooled into naively believin the CCP would Liberalize, reform human and citizens rights and embrace democracy.

  • History tells another story and now PEI is caught between Donald Trump and China as over 70% of the islands export market rely on those two nations.

  • The authors and the documentary will take the audience through our investigation that took us from PEI to Washington, Toronto, Vancouver, Munich and Taipei and Washington DC. We met His Holiness Representatives in multiple cities to better understand the complex relationship Bliss and Wisdom has with Tibetan Buddhism and Dharamshala, India where the 14th Dalai Lama has been gracefully hosted for over 65 years.
