Canada Under Siege, Espionage, Elite Capture and the Selling of Anne’s Legacy

A year ago in March, Optimum Publishing came to PEI to make a presentation and launch The Mosaic Effect and Under Cover. We also announced that we were conducting a journalistic investigation into how the PNP scandal has led to the Elite capture of PEI’s political and business elite and into the Bliss and Wisdom group and its Buddhist Monastic beginnings that started with Master Jih-Chang (who passed in 2004) and Abbott Fen Yin who together founded the group in Taiwan. A lot has happened over our year-long investigation.

Join our speakers, including Sherap Therchin from the Canada Tibet Association and the authors, for an insightful session on our findings and how the CCP’s interest in controlling Tibetan Buddhist organizations worldwide found its way to Prince Edward Island.

  • Short video Trailer, Documentary Hidden Bliss, including a surprise appearance from Taiwan

  • Tibet and Buddhism | How the CCP hijacked Tibetan Buddhism. The Canadian Tibet Association Presentation

  • Our Investigation from Canada to Taiwan and back again

  • Critical findings - Michel Juneau- Katsuya and Garry Clement, along with Dean Baxendale

Canada Under Siege is a book about our investigation into Elite Capture, Espionage and how the CCP’s United Front Works Department has been actively engaged on the island for almost two decades. They were introduced unwittingly to the island by Jean Chretien, Percy Downs and Robert Ghiz and McLaughlin. It was at a time when Canada saw a future of opportunity in China and engaging with the Chinese Community Party to which they all believed would reform and become more democratic. It has not.

Also discussed will be the third edition of Sam Cooper’s bestselling book, Wilful Blindness: How a Network of Narcos, Tycoons and CCP Agents Infiltrated the West. “If you want to understand war in the 21st century, read this book to get the story." (US Brigadier General (retired).

The book has an updated foreword by Sinologist and former Canadian diplomat to China, Charles Burton and a brand new Introduction by former CSIS Chief of Asia Pacific and author Juneau-Katsuya. He is also the author of the Sidewinder report, which can be found on the Optimum Site under the Wilful Blindness Tab
